Year 10 Work Experience

iStock-1449104770We are excited to announce that we are going to bring back Work Experience as part of the curriculum for Year 10.

We feel that students can gain invaluable insight into the varying demands of the world of work and can support them to make more informed decisions about their futures. As a school, we are expected to provide substantial careers education and what better way to support that, than a real-life practical experience!

Work experience week will be taking place during the week commencing 3rd July 2023.

Students will be invited to find a placement of their own and the school will commission the services of the Local Authority to ensure all relevant safeguarding and insurances are in place. Students who do not manage to arrange a placement will be supported to do so either by school or using the Local Authority Employment Engagement Officer who supports school to deliver work-based experiences. Sadly, due to the number of students involved, school will be unable to provide individualised transport to placements.

Our Schools

Synergy Multi-Academy Trust comprises fifteen Norfolk schools serving children between the ages of 2 and 18. Our schools work collaboratively together to raise standards and provide education of the highest possible standard, offering the best of opportunities for pupils. The Trust was initially established in 2015. We believe that all of our schools have strengths and areas to develop, and that all can improve through sharing expertise and wisdom. The Trust understands that there will be excellent practice in each school, and that every school will be able to contribute to the development of the Trust as a whole.
