Choosing a secondary school for your child is an important decision. We want to make that decision as easy as possible and support you every step of the way.

Year 7 Admissions

The 2024/25 admission to secondary school application round opened on Monday 11th September 2023. Applications can be made online from this date: https://www.norfolk.gov.uk/education-and-learning/schools/school-admissions/transfer-to-secondary-school

The application round closes on Tuesday 31st October 2023. Late applications can still be made after this date by completing an application form.

Admission Form

If your child is in their last year at a primary or junior school, you must apply for a place in Year 7 at a secondary school.


Decisions

If you apply online, you will be able to sign in to your account and see the decisions during the day on 1 March 2024.

If you post an application form, you will be sent a letter on 1 March 2024 by second class post telling you the decision.

  • EntryRound opens - 11th September 2023
  • Round closes - 31st October 2023
  • National Offer Day - school place decisions are made available - 1st March 2024
  • Appeals closing date - 22nd March 2024
  • Mini admission round to consider changes - 3rd April 2024
  • Late appeals closing date - 19th April 2024
  • Appeals hearings - May/June 2024

Waiting lists maintained for oversubscribed schools until 31st December 2024

Our Schools

Synergy Multi-Academy Trust comprises fifteen Norfolk schools serving children between the ages of 2 and 18. Our schools work collaboratively together to raise standards and provide education of the highest possible standard, offering the best of opportunities for pupils.
